Wuxly produces the world’s warmest sustainable outerwear made from bio-based insulation. Their parkas, winter coats, fleeces, accessories and more are ethically made in Canada.

George Brown College’s Fashion Exchange partnered with Wuxly, a Toronto-based outerwear brand, to develop a thermal rating guide for its winter jackets. Using specialized testing that mimics human skin, the research team measured how effectively different materials retain heat and resist cold. The result: five temperature-rating categories, ranging from 0°C to -35°C, giving Wuxly clear data to demonstrate how its products perform in Canadian winters. The company can now use this information in their marketing efforts.
